On the 2nd and 3rd of April 2017, Al Manar International School (Dafna Campus) went on a trip to Kidzmondo in Qatar Mall. Kidzmondo is an international edutainment park for children, featuring a self-sufficient city built for, and managed solely by children who are known as Kidizens. This mini city has its own economy and currency (Kidlar), public services, and over 80 different professional role play activities contained within. Our students were attracted to go through the different establishments, while providing them with a mental and physical voyage of investigation, exploration and adults’ role play.
The trip was an edutainment one. Students were allowed to play adult professions in a highly realistic, dynamic, and a safe environment. In addition to incorporating real life values into the students’ daily life.
Our vision is to create awareness, imagination, and creativity in our students by mingling quality education and entertainment. Kidzmondo was the right place where our students’ innate talents were appreciated and nourished.
