Covid-19 has given our students a crash course in what it is like to be a researcher. Now, more than ever, our students are seeing how STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields are rising to the challenges of Covid-19.
AMIS Celebrated STEM week which had started on the 31st till the 8th of February 2021. It aimed at fostering a lifelong love for STEM. Students had so much fun with STEM activities, that they did not realize just how much they were learning.
The science, Math and ICT department started the event by introducing the concept of STEM to students through STEM cards which offered an engaging way to get our students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math. During the ICT period students enjoyed the kahoot! Game which sparked our students’ interest even further in STEM as a study field.
On the last day of the STEM week, students came to school wearing creative and insane scientists’ costumes, these costumes included lab coats, safety goggles, bow, gloves, and crazy hairstyles!
