On Wednesday, the 26th of April 2017, Al Manar International School held its Junior Ambassadors Conference (JAC). Elementary students from the three campuses took part in the conference as countries delegates. The purpose of JAC is to create awareness on several social affairs that affect children around the world. During the conference, students discussed the issue of “Universal access to childhood education”. Delegates researched the impacts of this issue and came up with possible solutions.
At the end of the event, Raghd Al Khatib from Grade 3A won a trophy as the best delegate, Nayla Al Naama from Grade 4B won a trophy as the best opening speech, and Majd Al Salhani from Grade 6B also won a trophy as the best problem solver.
The Junior Ambassadors Conference event is in line with the school’s mission where students are socially and confidently developed to be productive citizens.
