“There is a CAN in Cancer because we CAN beat it.”
To create awareness among students and Staff, Al Manar International School, Dafna Campus held its National Cancer Awareness Day on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. The day started off with the student council morning announcement where members of the student council team created awareness to their fellow students about Cancer. Students and staff came to school wearing outfits with the pink color.
Later, during the breaks, student council held an activity called “Slap Cancer” where students applied pink paint on their palms and placed it against a white board. The board was later hung out in the playground.
