Al Manar International School celebrated this year’s Qatar National Day on the 14th of December 2017. Students arrived school in their gorgeous Qatari traditional outfits accompanied by their traditional food.
The school’s premises and classrooms were beautifully decorated with flags and all kinds of decorations reflecting the country’s colors (Maroon and White)
In commemoration of Qatar National Day celebration, Students visited the Darb Al-Saai ground.
Darb Al Saai is a distinctive feature of the National Day celebrations and constitutes a great public attraction, with its diverse and rich blend of activities.
Students watched presentations about Qatar, listened to songs about Qatar and made different art crafts reflecting their culture. They also had face painting and henna. Students shared their traditional food with their friends and the day’s celebration was crowned by a beautiful show in the playground with parents in attendance.
