It is with great pleasure and pride to inform you that I have been appointed as the new principal of Al Manar International School/Al Thameed Campus. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 25 years, and will dedicate my experience to continue the legacy of success established by the school, to ensure your child’s development and progress, and building strong relations with parents, students, and community partners.
Our clear aim and purpose is to provide the best teaching and learning environment in which all our students will achieve their very best academically, physically, and socially and who embrace Islamic values, Arabic traditions and culture.
Our motto ‘Share-Care-Empower-Inspire’ is fundamental to developing our students’ personalities as well as helping them build and improve their life-long learning skills. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need parental as well as academic support.
Al Manar international school is committed to improving the critical academic skills of our students as well as encouraging them to retain motivation, ambition, and be lifelong learners. We pride ourselves on the high expectations we set for our high school students. At AMIS we provide rigorous, creative, challenging, and interactive curriculum and we aim to graduate students who are global citizens and confident leaders capable of making a difference in the world.
For this Academic year, we are focusing on integrating more project-based experiments, integrating technology in classrooms, enhancing mastery of science subject matter, and developing scientific reasoning abilities through our science and computer labs. We are also introducing the AP Calculus course for our grade 12 students. Our goal is to guide our students toward their preferred college and make it easier for them to land scholarships.
