On Thursday, the 10th of May 2018, Al Manar International School (Dafna Campus) celebrated Career Day. Students from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade, were dressed as what they would like to be when they grow up. It was just so cute and fun to see how ambitious kids can be. The idea behind the Career Day is to show students early in their academic careers the importance of learning. Exposing kids of all ages to the world of work can broaden their perspectives and spur them to more interesting and productive careers.
Career day is probably the most exciting event at our school. There is nothing better than seeing a huge smile on a child’s face, a smile created through a desire to learn and excitement for education. That is a tough thing to bring out sometimes, but career day reminds us that it can be done.
