How did AMIS get prepared for welcoming its student? “Welcome to The New Normal”
Based on our endeavor and care for providing a safe learning environment and a smooth return to our students to school, and based on our commitment to following the instructions of Qatar’s health ministry, AMIS launched a sort of campaign called the “New Normal”.
Under the amendments of the “new normal”, we have applied a couple of changes to make the returning of students, possible, safe and even fun:
We have changed the school timing, so that it starts and ends at different times for different groups of students, we also changed the break time and made it done in small groups rather than having all of the students gathering at the same time.
Water and sanitation facilities are used frequently, that’s why we made a special schedule for them to have them cleaned after each use.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that AMIS family has been meticulously and effectively getting ready for receiving students;
-All of the members of the academic staff, admins, and workers did the PCR test and have been tested negative for Covid-19. The whole school has been sanitized and well cleaned.
We also included a reminder of sanitary precautions in all of our lesson plans.
In addition to this preparation, we conducted awareness workshops to train administrative staff and teachers on social distancing and hygiene procedures.

Education is a right and it is the right of our beloved students to get the education they need.
We are very happy that our students are back to school.
