Al Manar International School, AL-Dafna Campus started its Qatar National Day celebration early this year as students enjoyed a trip to Katara Dhow festival and to Darb Al Saai. We also had visitors from the Commercial Bank who had the courtesy to be considerate and bring beautiful gifts to our beloved students.
The main celebration took place on Tuesday, December the 17th , 2019 at the school’s premises. The entire school was beautifully decorated in white and Maroon and students and staff also came attired for the occasion.
The Qatari culture was represented in the best possible way, and the best way to do that was by showing how generous this culture is, this was manifested in the amount of traditional food and beverages offered by students to anyone attending this happy occasion.
Parents were invited to watch their children performances; A variety of shows were artistically presented: Traditional dances, Army shows, Traditional Qatari weddings “Henna “, etc.
It was an amazing and unforgettable celebration, actually, one of its kinds.
Everyone enjoyed this special celebration were students had the opportunity to show their talents and also express their love and appreciation to the country that made hope, safety and happiness possible for everyone in it.
