On Thursday, November 1st Al Manar kindergarteners celebrated Hat Day.
Both children and teachers came to school wearing elaborated hats. Teachers encouraged students to be creative and design their own hats from cardboard, scraps of paper, pompons, straws, pipe cleaners and other art supplies. Even things like plastic bottles, balloons, paper plates or cups can be handy if you go for an extraordinary hat design. And there are no limits for imagination!
Children went through the task very enthusiastically. With help of their parents they created amazing hat designs and proudly demonstrated them in front of their classmates. Seeing the whole school in hats was fun and the children enjoyed the day.
Celebrating special days in kindergarten is beneficial for children in many ways. It breaks their everyday routine, develops creative thinking and has positive emotional impact.
