Junior Ambassador Conference (JAC)
The Social Studies Department in Al Manar International School organized the JAC event (Junior Ambassador Conference) at Izghawa Campus, on Wednesday, 28th of November 2018. The topic was about “Poverty”. AMIS aims to foster cultural diversity that helps develop students socially and confidently to become productive citizens in a safe learning environment to face the challenges of the 21st Century. Students will be prepared to identify and access the best opportunities globally.
Students from Grades 4, 5, and 6 represented 14 different countries, made researches to collect information about poverty and suffering of people in those countries.
The aim of JAC is to teach students how to approach the different challenges that children face and present solutions.
The conference was enriched with the participation of our Honored Guests who flourished the session with their knowledge and experience: H.E. Ambassador of South Africa, H.E. Ambassador of Republic of Cuba, H.E. Ambassador of Peru, Counselor of the Morocco Embassy, and Counselor of the Republic of Sudan Embassy, Consultant of Qatar Charity, and Mrs Marwa Al Saleh (Radio presenter at Sout Al-Khaleej).
The event was successful and a great experience for our students to be future leaders.
