Art Competition “‘What Qatar means to you?”

Art is an important subject. It nurtures inventiveness as it engages students in a process that aids in the development of self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation, and self-motivation. Aware of this fact, we usually encourage AMIS students to develop their artistic skills, and we seize every opportunity to let them participate in indoor and outdoor Art competitions. Accordingly, Ms. Nancy Khalil, and Ms. Maisam Hamdan motivated our dear students to take part in a national competition. It was held in Qatar Mall’s luxury court. The motto of the competition was “‘What Qatar means to you?”. Our students put too much effort in drawing nice pictures to express their love to Qatar. Their work was appreciated by the jury, and the audience. Shaden AlKhateeb was awarded the first place in the age group 8-10, and Kinda AlBahri was awarded “People’s Choice Award” in the age group 14-16. We’re glad to participate in such a special competition that gave our students a chance to show their pride, respect, and love to Qatar. Congratulations to the winners!
