November is “ Cancer Awareness Month”. Many sessions took place in Al-Manar International School to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research.
Students took part and were involved in the different activities organized for this concern. We aimed to get as many people (i.e. teachers, students, parents, staff etc.) as possible involved in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer, and it is one of AMIS traditions to make all in the school aware of this important day. All students and staff wore pink and discussed ways by which we protect ourselves from this disease.
Do something great – make life-save research happen by supporting, wear it pink!!
